Now, I know, insyaAllah :')
Every soul shall taste death.
I sometimes spend a moment in my life, wondering how I will 'depart'.
I honestly just can't figure. Afraid is not even a question, as it is inevitable.
This morning, somehow Allah tested me in little pain.
After Subh prayer, I was so ache I laid down on My Imam's lap.
A thought occurred to me - this is how I want to depart.
Lying calmly on My Imam's lap, with his fingers caressing my forehead,
his other hand lightly patting my arm. I feel secured. I pray to Allah to 'invite' me this way, amin.
When my aurah is fully covered and my loved ones are nearby to ease off my pain.

A song I recently get acquainted with.
I want to dedicate to My Imam.
:')
And all along I believed
I would find you
Time has brought
your heart to me.
Alhamdulillah.
Abang,
you are (one) of the most precious treasure Allah give me to.
You are worth all the wait, insyaAllah.
Let's pray to Allah to keep us together till Jannah.
Amin.
I love you.

Butter Cookies
I have no appropriate experience of baking cookies on my own.
I had a few baking experiences with my Nenek before and since it was with guidance the result was definitely delicious, Alhamdulillah.
Well, recently I wanted to broaden my cooking 'expertise area', I wanted to try bake biscuits. It was all because I stumbled upon a-very-easy-you-can-close-your-eyes-while-baking kind of recipe, so I excitedly decided to try.
I can still recall the joy and excitement I contain while I was preparing the dough. I even visualize in my mind that my family would praise my cookies and how (simply) talented I am in baking.
(perasan kan?)
Anyway, the result.
tada!!
.
.
.
.
.
.
Ok, you guys can laugh. It's not like I can hear you.
:p
Tell you, I cried.
I was facing severe devastation & frustration.
(mengadakan? I know)
In my mind : "wuuaaahhh! penat je perasan awal-awal, sekali tak jadi."
But still, out of reasons, instead of dumping all the hideous looking cookies in my trash bin, I tasted it.
MasyaAllah! It's edible!! (hehe). The biscuits were still crunchy, the choc chip was nicely warm and soft, only the bottom part was a bit struggle to bite.
:p
Even my family agreed it was nicely bake, you know for a 1st timer.
:)
They made my cookies their snacks, & I was deeply touched.
I learnt just a lot from this experience. I genuinely feel Allah has taught me a great lesson.
Somehow I felt, my effort was rewarded by Allah rather than my achievement . Thank you Allah for instilling in me the strength and courage to explore my abilities. For not because of you, I may never know.
I love you Allah.

Twins of Faith
Salam Khalifah..

Have you heard of this event yet?
InsyaAllah it will be on the 24th till 25th of Dec at PICC Putrajya at 10.00am till 10.00pm.
MasyaAllah I'm so excited as InsyaAllah I'm going but not as participant but as volunteer. Twins of Faith is organized by Mercy Mission. You can check the details of the event at
;)
I was informed they are doing this event to collect fund to build home for reverts and school in Malaysia.
Therefore, the money you use to purchase the ticket will be your saving for your akhirah insyaAllah.
One more thing, I also found out they are still in need of volunteer.
If you are interested simply click the link above.
;)
I actually like to share my 1st volunteer meeting with Mercy Mission.
One of the sharing is simple mesmerizing.
It's from Aunty Zai (one of the Mercy Mission volunteer. Allah has given her 25 years of experience in volunteerism so her explanation insyaAllah will really help me in this field as well, amin. She elaborate things help me seeing this duty the way a Muslim volunteer should see)
InsyaAllah it will do the same to you.
Prepare your notebook Khalifah.
Mukmin Volunteer Requirement.
1. First of all - correct our niyah (nawaitu). We are volunteering solely to gain Allah's pleasure, insyaAllah.
2. Obey your leaders, as each assignment will be led by someone.
Listening to our leader will insyaAllah help to smooth the program.
3. Be patients.
Participants are all different in 'colors' - not all are 'white' some can be 'gray', 'pink', 'blue' and so on.
[hope you khalifah get what I mean =) ]
4. Be happy all the time.
Yes, the duty / task can be exhausting and challenging but being "mengada-ngada", unhappy, complain things wont help you settle things.
5. Respect others.
The respect should go to everybody not just the VIPs.
Remember : the way we treat people reflect our manners.
6. Be humble, polite, sincere & transparent.
- Don't give false hope to the participants : meaning, we have to give them info that are according to that moment in a nice & polite way.
7. Smile
(it should be coming right from your heart)
8. Communicate clearly
but before you can do it, you have to listen well so the info given is exactly what the participant needs.
9. Maintain integrity
10. Always stay +ve
{ Husnul Zhon}
11. Show enthusiasm & commitment
12. Be on time
we don't want to trouble others
13. Be professional
working according to the work procedure
14. If you feel unhappy during work
do lots of Zikrullah.
15. Be forgiven & always istighfar
16. Make doa for yourself and the organisation
InsyaAllah that's about it.
Take care Khalifah.

May Allah make easy, amin.
MasyaAllah!
I'm so excited as I'll be having Usrah this coming Sunday night at my home
(hope my house paint will be completely dry by then, amin).
I did prepare some notes and a few humble gifts. Hopefully my Mad'u will love them and enjoy the Usrah forever, amin.
(Khalifah) readers,
please pray for everything to go smooth ya and that we are all able to do
Islah (& Da'wah) consistently (istiqamah).
InsyaAllah be creative naqibah(s). Do integrate our hobbies, passions, talents into our usrah.
Just a friendly reminder ~ to all the (lovely solehah) naqibah (s).
Be genuine. We are not perfect.
We make mistakes but we are always in the path of correcting ourselves insyaAllah.
Last but not least, let's dedicate our little effort for the sake of Allah.

Life of a Housewife.
I got a taste of it recently, Alhamdulillah.
All thanks to my school holiday.
;)
It's actually not that bad. I have the house all to myself & get to spend with it the way I want.
So my daily routines spent - watching Martha Stewart show, Bella, Wanita Hari Ini, Oprah and Chinese serial drama on 8tv. [I sometimes do feel old when doing these routines :p ]
Just to ensure I'm still 'alive', I have lunch dates sometimes and go to school to see what I can do to prepare for my work next year.
;)
Do I get to do any relaxing? Reading? Baking?
Alhamdulillah, I did but most of the time is more on cleaning, wiping, organizing, folding, scrubbing etc. My refrigerator seems like it just come out from an electrical store. So new and clean.
The house chores are sometimes challenging.
It's almost the same amount of exhaustion I gain when I work at school.
Luck for me, I enjoy doing both chores (most of the time).
Alhamdulillah, this housewife thingy really put me in adorning my house mode. My this month salary has been spent mostly at the furniture store. InsyaAllah I'm even planning to have somebody paint my house this weekend. I'm simply quite nervous about it.
My house it too white, so I pick a very light peachy-brownish-pinky color.
Hopefully it turns out well, amin.
;)
Checklist.
(Khalifah) wives, do keep in mind (or keep anywhere you find appropriate) to have a book or anything as a reference or checklist for your (honorable) wives duty. As Muslims, insyaAllah we have to make sure we are doing everything purely to gain Allah's pleasure duniawi ukhrawi but at the same it is according to
As-Sunnah. Get books that will help you on this. Alhamdulillah, I've found mine. These two are quick check-up to ensure insyaAllah I'm on the right track - that is Islam.
Turn our daily chores into Ibadah, insyaAllah.
So it means we are preparing every second of our life doing saving for Akhirah.
InsyaAllah you can get these books at any bookstore.
