In the name of Allah.
it's been almost two months now. but i still can't believe im already married. i guess i need sometime to register the new fact right into my brain. yes, i do have extra ta'lif now. but Alhamdulillah, Allah has help me all the way through, just like usual.
zaujati mahbub.
a nickname specially for me in my husband's handphone. when i noticed the nickname, i immediately asked him the meaning, since i don't understand arabic so much.
he looked at me and answered "my beloved wife."
end with a kiss on my forehead.
subahanallah, i felt a rush of calm dived into my heart.
reminiscing the first moment when i had my freind recommended him. i wasn't bother to give respones at that time. i decided to leave everything in Allah's hand. however, things are meant to be. my soleh husband first came to my house somewhere between in the middle of june 09 if im not mistaken. i wasn't dare to look at him. before he came, i did manage to have things discussed with my favorite ustazah, Ustazah Pabiyah. i was doubtful, confused and not to mention sceptical about the whole idea.
"the most important thing is his agama."
remembering the quote from Ustazah Pabiyah, i then invited him to my house.
to be honest, i felt calm.
deep in my heart, i knew it was the right thing to do insyaAllah.
several weeks after,i announced to my family i wanted to get married soon. of course i did succesfully create a chaos in my family. so many responses. so many feedback that i took a lot of time to digest. it wasn't a tradition for my family members to get married while still studying. i don't think im over exagarating to say that most of my family members were totally against the idea. they were concerned. i know.
again, Alhamdulillah. Emak, Abah and definitely my baby, Aida were very supportive at that moment. three most important persons in my life shower me with their blessing. what else could i ask for?
apart of all the obstacles, my husband and i finally got engaged in August. it was a very simple ceremony. attended by me, my husband and his parents. i was overwhelmed. but i still remembered, i felt calm.
subhanallah.
deep in my heart, i wanted to have a few of my family members around. but i guess, Allah has decided everything. so, let it be.
on 5th Zulhijjah 1430H (22 Nov 2009), witnesses by angels and fellow caliph, i was officially halal to my husband. the moment, he received qabul from Imam i felt my heart was immediately fiil with love for him.
abang,
